I grew up as the youngest of 2 children of 2 school teachers in the U.S.-Mexico border town of Douglas, AZ. As many veterinarians, I knew from an early age that I wanted to help animals as a lifelong career, but unlike many, I was privileged to live next door to a good family friend who happened to be a mobile veterinarian who helped fan the flame of my dream. I graduated from Douglas High School with the class of 2007, then went on to complete my undergraduate degree in Veterinary Science and Microbiology at the University of Arizona, class of 2011. Between undergraduate and veterinary school, I took a year to teach high school chemistry and physical science at Douglas High School. From 2012 through 2016 I attended veterinary school at Colorado State University. I have several hobbies that include playing tennis, playing the piano, and anything that involves the outdoors. I look forward to meeting and serving both you and your pet in the near future!read more
