Dr.. Burdick knew she wanted to be a vet since her family took home their first kitten when she was 5 years old. She received her bachelor?s degree from Cornell University and her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Kansas State University. Dr. Burdick has a special interest in exotic animal medicine and loves working with pets and their owners. She loves animals of all shapes and sizes; she grew up with an English mastiff and now has a Chihuahua mix. Dr. Burdick is originally from Connecticut and has lived in New York, Kansas, and Florida, but realized she belongs in New England. Dr. Burdick lives on the North Shore with her dog Chico, cat River (both pictured), and guinea pig Pearl. She has been working for Banfield since January 2016.read more
Dr. Bustard always knew she wanted to become a veterinarian. She started her veterinary career at the bottom by cleaning kennels and worked her way to a surgery technician while going to school for her bachelors in biology. After her bachelors she stayed in Florida and received her Mba. She then returned to her home country, Canada, for veterinary school at the University of Prince Edward Island/Atlantic Veterinary College. Here she found her passion for surgery. In her free time, she can be found with her family, travelling the world, spending time with her two cats, Moe and Arya Phuntsok or her horse Cheeky; she is always continuing to better herself as a doctor. Dr. Bustards passion for surgery and all related medicine drives her to expand her knowledge continuously. She looks forward to working with you and building a long-lasting relationship with you and your furry family memberread more
Dr. Sara Gardiner has been working for Banfield for eight years.
I grew up in MA and attended undergraduate studies in New London, CT and San Diego, CA. I earned my Veterinary degree in California and eventually moved back to this area.
I have been practicing at the Salem location for four years and enjoy the opportunity to solve problems and help pets be as healthy as possible. I have a specific interest in feline medicine. In my personal life I love to explore New England and spend time with my family including my pet cat Steve.
