Dr. Melissa Lucas graduated from Western University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007, and worked in the academic field for five years before joining us at Banfield in Ventura. In addition to spending her time off with her husband and young daughter and taking care of three dogs, two cats and two chinchillas, she also enjoys gardening and reading. Her focus in veterinary medicine is dentistry and dental/oral surgery.read more
An animal and nature lover at heart. Liza enjoys the outdoors. On her days off if she is not spending time with family and friends, you can find her taking a long hike with her adopted pup Cosette, relaxing at the beach or training for a runDisney event.
Liza has been with Banfield for over 10years and has worked in both the Client Service Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant roles.
Joining the Ventura team in May 2014, Liza works along side chief of staff, DrOsborne, to help ensure continued associate growth and development. They also encourage the team to always take the time to educate clients about the importance of preventative care and to strive for client satisfaction.
