Kristen R. Hartford

Dr. Hartford received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University and went on to graduate with her Doctorate degree from Ross University. While attending Texas A&M University she worked in the Junior Surgery Lab of Texas A&Ms small animal teaching hospital. After graduating she worked as a technician in the Texas A&M small animal ICU before starting veterinary school.

I have wanted to be a veterinarian since I was young. I was given my first opportunity to get hands on experience during high school with a small private practice in Beaumont, TX. I continued to work as a veterinary technician at Texas A&M veterinary teaching hospital while I completed my undergraduate studies and before starting veterinary school. Getting those hands on experience sonly cemented my desire to do what it took to obtain my goal to become a veterinarian. I enjoy spending my free time outdoors, cooking, and taking photos of animals and nature.
