Dr.Robert Kaplan -General Practitioner

Dr. Robert Kaplan was born in Bronxville, New York and spent his childhood living in the suburbs of New York and New Jersey about an hour outside of New York City. Dr. Kaplan attended Boston College for his undergraduate studies [Go Eagles!] and graduated with a bachelors of science in '97. He graduated from the Cornell Veterinary School in '01 [Go Big Red!] earning his doctorate of veterinary medicine. Upon graduation, he moved to the West Coast to enjoy the warm weather and climate of California. Since moving to California in '01 he has worked in both corporate and private practices doing general practice, emergency practice, and relief work. Dr. Kaplan has always had a special interest in internal medicine and has recently become interested in exotics care. He, in his spare time, treasures being with his wonderful wife Ivett and going on frequent REI trips to enjoy the great outdoors. Dr. Kaplan has two spunky cats named Superfly and Nubbins who he can't help but spoil rotten in return for their seemingly unending affection. Dr. Kaplan has traditionally seen primarily dogs and cats patients, but is looking forward to expanding into treating more exotic rodent and reptile patients too.
