The Dublin Veterinary Clinic is a long established veterinary practice dating back to 1967 when Dr. R.C. Smith first converted the old Dublin Blacksmith Shop at 32 West Bridge Street into a small Veterinary Clinic. Then, Dr. Ron Montgomery retired in 2009 after owning the practice for 16 years. Drs. Todd and Brigette Lightell, whom are husband and wife veterinarians, enthusiastically took over ownership of the long-standing practice in 2010. They both have extensive experience in veterinary medicine and surgery and are excited to take care of your family's pets. Along with Dr. Carissa Scott and the rest of the dedicated hospital staff, we provide compassionate and exceptional care for your pets in a caring, family atmosphere. We strive to give both you and your pets the personal attention that we feel you both deserve.

Dr. Todd B. Lightell graduated from The Ohio State University College of Agriculture with a Bachelor of Animal Science degree in 1995. He then graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. He practiced in the northeast Ohio area for 9 years, and then relocated to Columbus. He and his wife Dr. Brigette Lightell own Dublin Veterinary Clinic, and they have two daughters (Ava & Evelyn), and a dog (Leia). He enjoys gardening, collecting, and movies.

Dr. Brigette Lightell graduated from The Ohio State University College of Agriculture with a Bachelor of Animal Science degree in 1999. She then graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She practiced in the Canton area for 6 years, and then relocated to Columbus. She and her husband Dr. Todd Lightell own Dublin Veterinary Clinic, and they have two daughters (Ava & Evelyn), and a dog (Leia). She enjoys taking her children and dog to the park, baking, and spending time with family.
