Haddon Vet is a small-town small animal practice. Tired of seeing a different doctor each time you visit your clinic? Our goal is to give you one-on-one care. We want to know you and your pet on a personal level to achieve consistent, highly individualized care. We take the time to sit with you and discuss your needs. We are a fully staffed clinic that handles annual exams as well as emergency appointments. We also offer competitive pricing.
We offer the highest quality medical and surgical care for your pet.
Local School and Community Support:
Haddon Vet sponsors a scholarship to one student graduating each year and supports many local schools and booster clubs by advertising and helping to raise money for their clubs. We sponsor students' futures in hopes that they take the education provided to them and excel in what they dream of.
Dr. Michael Anthony is excited to have taken over as owner of Haddon Vet. He has been a life-long lover of animals and grew up outside Washington, DC in a house where there were pets of all shapes and sizes. These pets became such an important part of his childhood, that he made the decision in college to devote his life to their care and well-being. He graduated from Dartmouth College cum laude with a degree in psychology and then went to the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine where he graduated with honors with an emphasis in small animals.
His career has taken him across South Jersey and he has worked in general and emergency practices over Camden, Gloucester, and Ocean Counties. His career took a different turn in 2009 when he began to work at a practice that specialized in integrative medicine. He learned about chiropractic, herbal, and homeopathic medicine, and decided to pursue a certification in veterinary acupuncture. He completed his training in 2012 and has been practicing integrative medicine since. Besides acupuncture, Dr. Anthony also is proficient in chiropractic treatments, herbal medicine, and using food as medicine with an emphasis on Chinese modalities of healing. He is excited to add these treatments for the patients of Haddon Vet.
Dr. Kimberly Ashford graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997 after obtaining her undergraduate degree from Bryn Mawr College. Her areas of interest include preventative medicine, immunology, and dermatology. A lifelong learner, she is currently taking courses in Environmental Science to extend both her knowledge of and appreciation for the natural world and all of the living things within it.read more
