Dr. Lunetta grew up in Scottsdale where she met her husband. She is an alumnus of the University of Arizona and Colorado State University. They have two sons (who are separated in age by 11 years!), Takoda and Caelan, and share their home with four cats and four dogs. After a five year absence from Tucson, she has made it full circle and returned to the place she and her family consider home. Dr. Lunetta was intrigued by veterinary medicine from a young age and enjoys all aspects of this profession, especially surgery. (With IRAH since 09/2007).read more
Dr. Brenda Reed grew up around animals and medicine (her mother was a nurse), so unsurprisingly she loved both. Currently she has three pets: Riley, a neurotic Weinmaraner; Randi, a hairy Golden Retriever and FoPaw "the Queen of all tortiseshell cats". She has always taken care of her pets' ailments and is currently learning and pursuing alternative medicines (such as acupuncture and Chinese herbs). The most fulfilling aspect of working with animals is being able to see their happy, smiling faces.read more
Dr. Julie K. Johnston grew up in Michigan but has considered Arizona home since 2003. A former veterinary assistant at Ina Road Animal Hospital, Dr. Julie graduated from Michigan State University in 2015 and is now happily back at Ina Road. Dr. Julie and her wife have a big furry family filled with 4 dogs and 3 cats! Dr. Julie was certified in veterinary acupuncture through the Chi institute and is currently working on Chinese herbal certification. Her interests focus on pain management, geriatric, and feline medicine. She is a member of the American Association of Feline Professionals, American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture and the American Association of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. Nothing makes Dr. Julie happier than to see an older dog or cat begin acting like a puppy or kitten again!read more
