Dr. Laura L. George

Hello! My name is Dr. Laura George. I am the medical director and owner of Meadows Cat Hospital. After my graduation from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine, I have spent the last decade practicing small animal medicine. Prior to Meadows Cat Hospital, I ran the medical operations of 30 (+) veterinary hospitals in Ohio and Washington. During this time I trained and mentored doctors through difficult medical cases and complex surgeries. I am now focused exclusively on feline wellness but I have spent the better part of two decades in medicine, shelter medicine and feline awareness. Feline veterinary medicine has always been my calling. I am excited to have recently moved to the Pacific Northwest with my husband, 3 cats (Opal, Onyx and Bailey) and my 5 rescued bearded dragons. At Meadows Cat Hospital, I hope to introduce you to my strong focus on preventative medicine, internal medicine and advanced surgical expertise.

Dr. Nicholas George

Hi! I am Nicholas and am the newest addition to the Meadows Cat Hospital team. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Ph.D. in Microbiology in 2010. Prior to joining Meadows Cat Hospital as the Practice Manager, I worked in Biotechnology for over 15 years. During that time I was dedicated to feline health awareness and have volunteered hundreds of hours (serving as medical team coordinator, assistant and educator) at a number of feline rescues. I have been involved in numerous public-outreach events and participated in various local feline health campaigns. I am in love with the Pacific Northwest and recently resettled here with Dr. George and our three cats "Opal", "Onyx" and "Bailey". Although felines are my favorite passion project, my love for bearded dragons rival it. As practice manager I will stop at nothing to ensure your experience at Meadows Cat Hospital is exemplary and will work with you and within your budget to get your fur baby the best care.
