Dr. Diane Stenzler has been practicing Small Animal Veterinary medicine since 1992, with special interests in Dermatology, Dentistry and Ophthalmology. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Cornell University (1989) and a DVM degree from Ross University of Veterinary Medicine. After she graduated with honors (1992), Dr. Stenzler completed a course in Human Ultrasonography. She has used her knowledge to perform ultrasounds on canines and felines to this date. Dr. Stenzler's love for animals dates back to her early childhood when she displayed her keen interest in Veterinary Medicine to her father, Dr. Anton Stenzler, a Veterinarian of over 45 years. Dr. Diane Stenzler has had the unique pleasure of being able to work in a true family business with her father. Dr. Diane Stenzler is a member of the Rockland/Westchester Veterinary and Northern NJ Veterinary Associations, both of which have monthly CE meetings that she regularly attends. She has also been a member of the Rockland/Westchester Executive Board. Dr. Stenzler is an active member of AVMA and AAHA, and also attends monthly Continuing Education meetings with a small group of Rockland County Veterinarians who are interested in keeping up on new therapies, and treatments, as well as staying in touch with eack other socially. Working side by side with her father at the Pearl River Animal Hospital, Dr. Stenzler continues to have amazing results treating chronic ear, skin, and paw dermatological diseases -conditions that had resisted previous treatment attempts. She has developed two ear and skin treatments that she custom designed, which have proven invaluable. She volunteers each year as a Vet on call at the Dog Walk for Cancer at the Rockland Community College, an event that was previously held at Bear Mountain State Park. She owns a lovable and large dog named "Blu" (one eye is blue!) and an energetic ferret, both of whom were rescued pets. Her green thumb, together with cooking, jewelery making, reading, riding horses and other interests, occupy her spare time.read more
