After 30 fabulous years in lower Manhattan, the Tribeca Soho Animal Hospital and its affiliates in Battery Park City and the West Village have expanded into the Seaport and Financial District neighborhoods. At the Seaport Animal Hospital we seek to continue our tradition of building long term relationships with our clients and thus a cumulative knowledge of their animal companions, especially regarding their individual healthcare needs. We build these relationships by offering:
The best in veterinary medical practices
Periodic wellness examinations & blood testing
Full diagnostic evaluation all medical issues
Experienced and dedicated veterinarians and staff
A high level of client service, especially in our hours and scheduling
Thorough and timely communications with owners to help them make informed pet healthcare decisions
It is by practicing these principles that we strive to be thought of first and foremost when the medical needs of a beloved companion become a family concern.
We are animal lovers ourselves and deeply appreciate the special relationship that exists between people and their pets.

Dr. Erin Wilson
Dr. Erin Wilson

Erin Wilson grew up in Nova Scotia, Canada, where she generally enjoyed all things outdoorsy. She then obtained an undergraduate degree at Smith College in Massachusetts, where - unsure of her life's purpose - she studied a variety of subjects, including Political Science and Comparative Literature. However, after spending a year travelling through Africa and working at a wildlife refuge in Zimbabwe, Dr. Wilson realized that her true passion lay in caring for animals. So, after returning to the United States, Dr. Wilson attended Veterinary School at the University of California, Davis, where she graduated with honors. Dr. Wilson then completed an internship in Surgery and Emergency Medicine at California Animal Hospital in Los Angeles; and a three-year residency in Small Animal Surgery at Animal Specialty and Emergency Center (also in Los Angeles). However, after more than 20 years of living and working in Los Angeles, Dr. Wilson was delighted to accept a position at Seaport Animal Hospital and return to the East Coast.

In addition to her "regular" hospital work, Dr. Wilson is extremely passionate about animal rescue. While in Los Angeles, Dr. Wilson served on the Board of Directors for Much Love Animal Rescue, and she spent almost two years as medical director of the Amanda Foundation, which is southern California's only non-profit animal hospital. Dr. Wilson has also worked extensively with Hope for Paws, a national rescue group. Additionally, Dr. Wilson has - through her owner personal rescue organization, Underdog Farms - rehabilitated and re-homed several horses acquired from slaughter auctions and other unfortunate situations.

When not helping animals, Dr. Wilson can be found happily exploring New York City. She also enjoys reading; horseback riding; running with her Border Collie mix, Ludo; and day-dreaming about all the restaurants at which she would like to eat.
