Located in beautiful Southwest NC, Steele Creek Animal Hospital was founded by Charlotte native Dr. Patricia Young in 1985. Our facility has been committed to providing pets in the Charlotte, Fort Mill, Clover, Lake Wylie, Gastonia, and York County, South Carolina communities with the finest in veterinary care since the day we opened. We provide care for dogs and cats, as well as rabbits, ferrets, and pocket pets.

Our Companion Animal Rehabilitation Center provides specialized care for pets recovering from neurologic or orthopedic injuries and/or surgery. This innovative care is also helpful for pets dealing with age-related mobility concerns. This service is available for pets outside our practice through referral from their primary care veterinarian or specialist.

Because of our continued commitment to quality pet care, pet owners have come to rely on us as a compassionate, skilled and cost-conscious partner in the care of their beloved companions. When your pet receives proper veterinary care, he or she has the best chance of living a long and happy life.

We are also diligent about promoting client education and responsible pet ownership. We work closely with you to understand your pet's unique health needs and to develop a preventive care plan that best meets those needs. Providing the highest-quality veterinary care means keeping you, our clients, at the center of all we do. After all, we are pet owners ourselves and understand how important it is to be received and treated by a staff that is knowledgeable, welcoming, and courteous. It is our goal not just to ensure the health and well-being of your pet but to be your partner in strengthening the bond you both share.
