Is the owner of TLC Pet Hospital. He purchased the hospital in July 2005. He is a CSU graduate. Dr. Salas has worked in the veterinary field since he was in college at NM State Univ. He is married and has 3 daughters. In his spare time, he likes to go fishing and do woodworking. Dr. Salas is also a New Orleans Saints fan!read more
Dr. Owen grew up in Las Cruces, NM and attended NM State Univ studying Animal Science. After graduating, she moved to Pullman, WA to Attend Washington State University.
She is happy to have returned to the land of sunshine and green chile to practice veterinary medicine. Dr. Owen and her husband, Travis, love spending time outdoors with their dog Honey B. They also have a cat named Morris who completes their family of four.
Dr. James grew up in Phoenix, AZ and attended the University of Arizona for her undergrad degree. �Go Wildcats!� She then completed her DVM degree at Colorado State in beautiful Fort Collins. Her husband is a human doctor who works at University Hospital, so they have all the species covered. Their fur babies are 2 spoiled poodle mixes named Bonnie and Clyde.read more
Dr. Long is an Albuquerque native. She attended UNM and earned a degree in Biology before attending Colorado State University for Veterinary school. She graduated in 2010 and moved back to Albuquerque in 2011. She is an avid reader and loves movies, popcorn and drinking tea. Dr. Long (Williams) and her husband, Joel, enjoy traveling and spending time in the mountains.read more
Dr. Gutierrez is from the beautiful North Valley of Albuquerque. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from UNM in 1993; then attended Colorado State University, graduating in ’97. She is also MAV Certified in Veterinary Acupuncture.
Dr. Gutierrez and her partner of 18 years, Kimberly Pravada, enjoy hiking, RZR riding/racing, and taking care of many four-legged children.
She sees exotics and does some orthopedic surgery.
Dr. Harris grew up in Albuquerque, NM. She went to UNM and graduated with a degree in biology and chemistry. Following undergraduate studies she attended Michigan State University for Veterinary School. Dr. Harris and her husband, John, enjoy snowboarding, playing soccer and spending time outdoors. They have two chihuahuas, Vinny and Lulu, and a turtle named Humpfrey who keeps life interesting.read more
Dr. Garver was born and raised here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After graduating from UNM, she moved to Corvallis, Oregon. She received her DVM from Oregon State University. In her free-time, Dr. Garver is a big sports fan and enjoys adventuring outdoors.read more
