DVM, Colorado State University
Esteban R. Armendariz is a Santa Fe native who received his B.S. in Agriculture from New Mexico State University in 1992 and his DVM from Colorado State University in 1996. He joined VCA Arrighetti Animal Hospital team in 1997 after a cold year in South Dakota as a large animal veterinarian. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the New Mexico Veterinary Medical Association. His professional interests include surgery, orthopedics, radiology, pain management, critical care, and emergency medicine. He is Penn Hip certified. This is a screening process in younger pets for hip dysplasia. It can help pet owners and breeders decrease the incidence as well as manage this terrible disease.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family in the great outdoors and playing golf. He has one diabetic cat named 'Zeke'.
Dr. Liz Davis was raised in Northern Virginia and grew up with horses, riding and showing them. She had an array of animals from dogs and cats to exotic animals such as ferrets. She graduated and received her Bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech. After gradation, she worked as an analyst for several years before returning to Virginia Tech to pursue a degree in her true passion of veterinary medicine. She graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine with a DVM degree in 2008. She started practicing in Arizona and has been practicing small animal and exotic animals such as parrots and other birds, turtles, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs and rats ever since. Dr. Liz shares her home with her husband, daughter, and her 5 rescued dogs, Sedona, Lucy, Olive, Rafiki and her senior dog Satchoo. She also has 2 cats (Growler and Matisse) and a snake named Melanie. when she is not at the hospital, Liz enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, and playing bass guitar.
Dr. Pat McCreight earned her DVM from Kansas State University in 1979. Dr. McCreight practiced at Ark Veterinary Associates until she merged it into VCA Arrighetti Hospital in November 2012.
Dr. McCreight is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the New Mexico Veterinary Medical Association where she was on the board from 1989 to 1994. She was president from 1992-1993.
The best part of veterinary medicine to Dr. McCreight is providing care to both the patient and their owner. She considers it a great privilege to care for an animal from the beginning to the end of their life.
Dr. McCreight enjoys being with her family most of all. She is married, has two sons, a daughter-in-law and (the best) a granddaughter with a grandson on the way.
