Dr. L. Keith Pflum

Medical Director
Dvm, Purdue University

Dr. L. Keith Pflum is a 1975 graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary medicine and came to Vca Lafayette Animal Hospital one year later. His wife, Pamela, is a teacher at Sunnyside Middle School. The Pflums have three children: Katie, Sarah and David and three grandchildren. They also enjoy their cats, Max, Fritz and Honey and their dog, Daisy.

Dr. Karen L. Miller began practicing in Muncie following her graduation from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. She returned to Lafayette, her hometown, and became a part of the Vca Lafayette Animal Hospital staff in 1996. Her husband, Jay, is a production associate at Sia. They are the proud parents of two children. They have a Lhaso Apso named Beau.

Dr. Lindsey Hedges

Associate Veterinarian
Dvm, Purdue University

Dr. Lindsey Hedges graduated from Purdue University in 2007 with a B.S. in Cell Biology and in 2011 with her Dvm. She lives in Lebanon, Indiana with her husband Ted and their menagerie of pets: their chocolate lab Nache; cats Olive, Oscar, and Whiskers; rabbits Maddie, Magic, and Ron; and their Chinchilla, Pepper. Dr. Hedges' interests include wellness and preventative medicine, oncology, orthapedics and small mammal medicine and surgery. She is happy to see any rabbits, rodents, ferrets and guinea pigs, and of course any cats or dogs as well!

Dr. Ruth Forde

PhD, Demontfort University/U.K.

Dr. Ruth Forde began practicing at Vca Lafayette Animal Hospital following her graduation from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. Originally from Galway, Ireland, she also has a PhD in pain and stress in animals and worked as a Research Animal Scientist for the Usda at Purdue Univeristy before going back to vet school. Her husband, Jeremy, is also a Research Animal Scientist with the Usda. They are the proud parents of two children, Millie and Harry and their household also includes 3 cats, Rosie, Crystal and Lilac, 2 dogs, Irie and Mac, and a house rabbit, Timothy. In her free time she enjoys hiking and biking and most other sports.
