Veterinary School: Ohio State University
Dr. Kathleen McBride grew up in Whittier, CA before moving to Portland, Oregon to attend Lewis & Clark College. She majored in biology, minored in chemistry and spent a semester abroad in Australia. Dr. McBride graduated with summa cum laude honors. After undergrad she worked as a molecular biology researcher for Oregon Health Sciences University studying the parasites that cause African Sleeping Sickness. From there Kathleen attended Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated with magna cum laude honors. Following graduation, Dr. McBride completed a one year internship at VCA West Los Angeles Animal where she received additional training.
Dr. McBride has 3 cats and 2 shelties.
Special Interests: Dr. McBride�s special interest include internal medicine and endocrinology.
Veterinary School: Louisiana State University
Dr. Marti Kaye is a Louisiana native who moved to Southern California for the wonderful weather and beaches. She graduated from Louisiana State University where she received degrees in Bachelor of Sciences (1998), Masters in Animal Science (2000) and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (2004). She belongs to the Southern California Veterinary Medical Association. She has 2 dogs, a pitbull mix named Duckie, and a younger terrier mix named Desi. She also fosters her sister�s cat who is currently deployed in the Navy.
Special Interests: Dr. Kaye's professional interests are in internal medicine, dentistry and endocrinology
Veterinary School: University of California, Davis
Dr. Ameti is a California native. He holds 3 university degrees from the University of California Davis campus. These include a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science, a Masters of Science in Animal Science and a doctorate of veterinary medicine degree. Dr. Ameti has over 25 years of veterinary practice experience. Dr. Ameti resides in Long Beach and is married with 2 daughters, 2 cats named Malika and Daisy and a standard poodle named Lilly..
Special Interests: His special interests include internal medicine, dermatology, ear disease and dentistry.
Graduate School: Ohio State University / DVM
Dr. Aimee Krieger is a native of Massachusetts, graduating from The University of Massachusetts in 1999, with a degree in Animal Science and Psychology. She then moved to the Los Angeles area to work at Harbor UCLA Research Institute in the field of pediatric medical genetics for two years. She then attended veterinary school at The Ohio State University in Columbus, graduating in 2006. This is where she met her husband, who is also a veterinarian. After graduation, she completed a one year medical and surgical internship at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital. She currently resides in Manhattan Beach with her husband, Alaskan Malamute Zeus, and cats Loki and Diesel.
Special Interests: Dr. Krieger�s special interests include internal medicine and feline medicine.
