Dr. McGill has been a practicing veterinarian for 28 years. She graduated from Ernest Ward High School in Walnut Hill, Florida before going on to study veterinary medicine at Auburn University. In 1988, Dr. McGill graduated from the veterinary medicine program at Auburn University where she maintained a perfect 4.0 grade point average in small animal rotations. She was chosen Outstanding Senior Student for Omega Tau Sigma veterinary fraternity. Dr. McGill participates in the national and state veterinary medical associations was the first president of The Gulf Coast Veterinary Medical Association. She is actively involved in many animal rescue groups on the local level.
Dr. McGill is a thoroughly experienced veterinarian having practiced at both St. Petersburg, Florida and Mobile, Alabama before opening animal hospitals in Foley and Gulf Shores.
Dr. McGill was named Young Career Woman of the Year by the Orange Beach Business and Professional Women's Club. She was a candidate for Woman of the Year by the Gayfers Jubilee Club. She has been active in the Gulf Shores Mardi Gras Parade for many years, having sponsored a float for the past seven years.
Dr. McGill enjoys her pets, "Trooper" a three legged dog that is the clinic mascot. Her mother rescued her after being hit by a car. "Sushi" and "Yoko" are both rescued cats. In her off time she enjoys boating, camping and fishing.
Dr. Scarlett Anderson has been a practicing veterinarian for seven years. Prior to coming to Magnolia by the Gulf she practiced veterinary medicine for five years in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
Originally from Fairhope, she went to high school at Bayside Academy in Daphne, Alabama. She has a B.S degree from Sewanee University of the South. She has M.S. and D.V.M degrees from Auburn University.
Dr. Anderson is married to Dr. Brian Anderson who is also a veterinarian. They have a boy named Harper and a plethora of cats.
Dr. Madison Wilson is a native Mississippian who always had a love for animals. She grew up visiting the beaches of the Gulf Coast and became a fan of raw oysters at an early age. Dr. Wilson earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from East Carolina University, a Master’s degree in Medical Sciences from Mississippi College, and she earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, feline medicine, and preventative medicine. She has 4 rescue pets – dogs Frances and Mr. Buddy, and cats Barbara and Lemon. In her free time, she enjoys live music, being on the beach, and trying out all of the local cuisine the coast has to offer.read more
