DVM, Associate Veterinarian
Oklahoma State University
I have a passion for feline medicine. I have adored cats my entire life and cannot imagine my home without my furry feline babies. One of the most gratifying experiences I can think of involves taking a litter of extremely sick kittens, saving their little lives, and seeing them as healthy, happy adult cats. They have given me so much joy over the years. Being able to devote my life to keeping dogs and cats healthy; healing them when they are sick is a dream come true.
DVM, Associate Veterinarian
Tuskegee University, School of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Thomas left cold Cleveland, Ohio and headed south for warmer weather. She completed her medical studies at Tuskegee University, School of Veterinary Medicine (Alabama) in 2012. Joining VCA Miracle Mile in December of 2013, after working in a single doctor practice, was the best step she could have taken! Although a city-girl at heart, I have developed an appreciation for southwest Floridas relaxed nature.
Dr. Thomas resides locally and when not working you can find her rehabbing a vintage find, shopping for shoes or meeting people, ready to share some good news!
My passion for pets started young after I noticed a bird hobbling, in an empty parking lot. The wing of the bird was injured, so I ran home with the bird in hand, dedicated to nursing it back to health. At age 4, I told my family, Im going to be an animal doctor!
