DVM, University of Minnesota
Dr. Cory Loxtercamp was born and raised in a small Minnesota town, where he completed his undergraduate education at the University of Minnesota. Following this he moved to St. Paul to attend the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2002. His veterinary career began at a small animal and exotics practice in Northwest Indiana. Three years later, he relocated to Chicago’s southern suburbs. He has been at VCA Worth since 2005.
In September of 2011, Dr. Loxtercamp was promoted to the Medical Director position.
In addition to veterinary medicine his other interests include running, mountain biking, traveling, hiking and spending time with his wife, son and daughter.
DVM, Texas A&M University
Dr. Angel Yu grew up in rural Maryland before moving to Houston, TX in high school. She graduated from Rice University with a degree in biology, then attended Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine where she received her DVM degree. After completing veterinary school, Dr. Yu moved to the Chicagoland area and completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA Berwyn and Franklin Park Animal Hospitals where she received the Most Compassionate Patient Care award. Dr. Yu joined VCA Worth Animal Hospital in 2003. She left VCA Worth in 2005 to pursue a career as a traveling veterinarian. Dr. Yu worked in Maine, Kentucky, and the Southwest. Though her practice was mainly limited to cats and dogs, she worked on a few horses, cows, and sheep in her travels. Dr. Yu returned to Chicagoland after tiring of living out of a suitcase. She returned to VCA Worth Animal Hospital in 2007. Dr. Yu enjoys hiking, biking, photography, and gardening.
DVM, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Dr. Carole Dill grew up in Chicago and attended Chicago Public grammar schools before entering Lourdes High School on the City’s southwest side. She studied animal sciences for three years at the University of Illinois Urbana- Champaign campus before being accepted into the veterinary program. Dr.Dill graduated in 1993 with honors from the University of Illinois - College of Veterinary Medicine.
After her first year and a half out of school Dr. Dill practiced small animal medicine at a small animal hospital in Chicago. She joined VCA Worth Animal Hospital as a full time veterinarian in December of 1994. She is thrilled by the long term client and pet relationships she has developed and enjoyed throughout the years.
Dr. Dill is busy with her two daughters and also helps her husband Mark with his photography business. Furry and feathered family members include Gherkin, a female golden retriever with a penchant for ingesting rocks and other items, a Lovebird named Tidbit, and a "stray" parakeet named Owy.
Dr. Dill’s free time is mostly spent enjoying the things that keep her family occupied. Whether she is helping coach the T-Ball and Baseball teams, assisting with the Girl Scout Troop, or lending a hand in the preschool classroom, time spent with her family is most precious to Dr.Dill. Gardening and bicycling are special treats that she looks forward to during the warmer seasons.
DVM, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Dr. Heather Delmagori graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007 after receiving her bachelors degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2003. She worked at VCA Worth as an assistant since 2000, until she was accepted into vet school in 2003. She started working at VCA Worth Animal Hospital as a full-time associate veterinarian in June of 2007.
She owns two cats, Phoebe and Allie, and a chinchilla, Scrappy. In her spare time she enjoys baking, reading and spending time with family and friends.
DVM, Cornell University
Dr. Wendy Breckenridge graduated from the veterinary school at Cornell University in 1999 and joined Worth Animal Hospital that summer.
She became part-time in 2003 when her son, Owen, was born. Megan joined the family in 2005 and the two non-fuzzy kids keep 'Dr. Breck' pretty busy when she's not at work.
Also rounding out the family are husband, Bill, and three great pets: Annie the cat, Susie the Standard Poodle, and Harry the Labradoodle. When not actively participating in the chaos of family and work, Dr. Breck rings handbells with the Westminster Ensemble at her local church, enjoys sewing & crafts, rides her bike (with the granny basket on the front!), and cooks.
