Founded in 1986, we have evolved from a traditional daytime practice to a full service facility.
Due to the overwhelming need for an after hour critical care facility in the area, we added emergency services in 2007. We also offer urgent care exams at a lesser cost than emergency visits, making it more convenient and affordable for the people and pets of Merced, Mariposa, Atwater, Los Banos, Chowchilla, Madera, Yosemite, Le Grand, Planada and the surrounding communities.
Animal Medical Center is a full service veterinary hospital that provides general practice services including routine preventative medical care for healthy pets. Additionally, we provide critical care for sick or injured pets in the Merced, California area. Our highly trained veterinarians and technicians can handle any pet emergency, from a small laceration to major trauma. Your pet will receive treatment including monitoring and pain management.
